Laura-Ann Rullo – lawyer at Nine Dots Legal (NDL), Melbourne

Laura-Ann is a dispute resolution lawyer with 8 years’ experience having previously worked at medium sized firm based in the CBD.

Laura-Ann has experience practicing in both the dispute resolution and property law space.

Laura’s dispute resolution experience includes:

  • Representing clients in various civil litigation matters, including contract disputes and monetary claims;

  • Conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, various court applications and briefs;

  • Participating in all stages of the litigation process, from issuing legal proceedings through to trial;

  • Negotiating settlements and agreements on behalf of clients to resolve disputes outside of court or mid-way through litigation;

  • Advocating for clients interests in pre-trial conferences and mediation;

  • Providing legal advice to clients regarding potential litigation risks and strategies;

  • Collaborating with other lawyers, experts, barristers and consultants to build strong cases and achieve favourable outcomes for clients;

  • Maintaining regular communication with clients to keep them informed about the progress of their cases and address any concerns they may have.

 Laura’s property law experience includes:

  • Drafting, lodging and removing caveats;

  • Drafting, lodging and removing second mortgages;

  • Facilitating settlements.

Laura-Ann has a combined Bachelor of Arts (majoring in legal studies) and Bachelor of Laws degree from La Trobe University. She also completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with Leo Cussen Centre for Law.

Laura is also a member of the Law Institute of Victoria.
